Automatic Brake
When an internal braking system is not practical, due to the configuration of the winch, Jeamar provides a brake within the crank handle itself. When the crank is turned in either a clockwise or counter- clockwise direction, torque is applied to a brake spring mechanism, reducing the outside diameter of the spring, releasing braking torque. With the handle released, brake torque is automatically applied, holding the load securely.
